FRAME & PICTURE
Custom framing, done right
Concert posters, comics, jerseys, diplomas, art — bring us anything worth saving, and we'll build the frame it deserves.
THE STORY
About the shop
The Frame & Picture Shoppe has been quietly framing Western Massachusetts's most cherished pieces for decades. In 2021, Rik Alvarez took over the business, bringing his collector's eye to the kind of work most shops shy away from — vintage concert posters that need acid-free everything, signed comic pages with delicate paper, oversized art that needs custom mat work.
The Shoppe has earned a name for treating each piece like it belongs in a museum, because for the person bringing it in, it usually does.
Museum-grade materials
Acid-free mats and backing, UV-protective glass — built to last.
Oversized & shadow boxes
Posters, jerseys, and 3-D keepsakes most shops turn away.
Conservation mounting
Reversible, archival techniques that never damage the original.
1-3 week turnaround
Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks. Larger or more detailed work takes longer, and we'll keep you in the loop the whole way.

WHAT WE FRAME
There's no list, because there's no limit. If it fits through the door and it means something to you, we'll build the frame it deserves.
